Testing & Quality

Our Approach to Product Quality and Transparency

At Affordable Nutrition UK, we believe customers should have access to clear information about the products we supply and the standards behind them.

Since establishing Affordable Nutrition in 2018, our approach has been built around product knowledge, careful sourcing, transparency and independent analytical testing where applicable.

For selected products within our research compound range, this means making independent analytical documentation available so customers can examine relevant testing information rather than simply relying on marketing claims.

Independent Analytical Testing

For selected products within our research compound range, Affordable Nutrition uses independent third-party analytical testing to provide additional verification of product identity and purity.

Testing may include analytical techniques such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Mass Spectrometry (MS).

These methods provide different but complementary analytical information. Chromatographic analysis can be used to assess the purity profile of a tested sample, while mass spectrometry can provide additional evidence relating to compound identity by examining its molecular characteristics.

Where this type of independent testing has been undertaken, we make the relevant analytical documentation available so customers can examine the evidence behind a product rather than simply relying upon a headline purity claim.

A Real Example: MK-677 (Ibutamoren)

Our MK-677 (Ibutamoren) provides an example of the type of independent analytical documentation we make available.

An independently analysed MK-677 sample underwent HPLC-based purity analysis together with mass-spectrometry identity testing.

The Certificate of Analysis reported 99.38% purity for the tested MK-677 sample. Separate mass-spectrometry analysis was also used to examine its molecular characteristics, with the analytical report recording confirmation of the compound’s molecular weight.

The supporting documentation includes the chromatogram, mass spectrum, peak analysis, sample or lot information, analysis dates and laboratory information.

This allows customers to look beyond a simple percentage and examine the analytical evidence associated with the tested sample.

Understanding Our Certificates of Analysis

A Certificate of Analysis, commonly referred to as a COA, provides analytical information relating to the particular material or sample submitted for testing.

Depending upon the analysis undertaken, documentation may include:

  • Compound identity information

  • Reported analytical purity

  • HPLC chromatographic data

  • Mass-spectrometry data

  • Peak analysis

  • Sample or lot identification

  • Analysis dates

  • Laboratory and analyst information

  • References to established chemical databases such as PubChem

A COA relates to the specific material or sample submitted for analysis. Results should therefore be understood in that context rather than interpreted as a universal guarantee applying indefinitely to every product or future batch.

We believe providing this underlying information is considerably more useful than simply displaying a purity percentage without explaining how that figure was obtained.

Accessing Our Analytical Documentation

Affordable Nutrition makes relevant analytical documentation available for selected research compounds so customers can review the information associated with those products.

Individual certification and analytical information is available for compounds including:

MK-677 (Ibutamoren)
RAD-140 (Testolone)
Ostarine (MK-2866)
LGD-4033 (Ligandrol)
Cardarine (GW-501516)
Enclomiphene

Links to our available certification documentation can be found in the Certifications section of our website.

Where applicable, products may also provide QR-coded access to supporting information, making relevant documentation straightforward to locate.

Manufacturing & Quality Standards

Affordable Nutrition works with established manufacturing and supply partners and places considerable importance on consistent production and quality standards.

Where applicable to the relevant product range, manufacturing is carried out within facilities operating under recognised quality-management standards.

Different categories of products are subject to different manufacturing, testing and regulatory requirements. We therefore avoid suggesting that one certification or analytical standard applies universally across everything we sell.

Instead, our aim is to provide the most relevant quality and testing information for each individual product or category wherever possible.

Research Compounds

Our research compound range covers a number of substances associated with areas of laboratory and pre-clinical research.

Where independent analytical documentation is available, customers can review the relevant information before purchasing.

Research compounds are supplied according to their stated intended purpose. Analytical testing or the existence of a Certificate of Analysis should not be interpreted as approval of a research compound as a medicine, dietary supplement or treatment, nor as evidence of safety or effectiveness for human use.

Sports Nutrition & Supplements

Affordable Nutrition also supplies a wider range of sports nutrition, pre-workout, health and wellbeing products.

The quality standards and documentation relevant to these products may differ from those associated with research compounds.

We therefore assess quality according to the nature of the individual product rather than presenting analytical testing as though exactly the same standards or documentation apply to everything within our catalogue.

Why Transparency Matters

The internet makes it easy for suppliers to make claims about product strength, purity and quality.

We prefer an evidence-led approach.

Where meaningful independent analytical evidence is available, we believe customers should be able to see it and understand what it represents.

That philosophy has helped shape Affordable Nutrition since 2018 and remains central to the way we select products, present information and communicate with our customers.

For us, transparency means providing useful information, making relevant analytical documentation accessible and being clear about both what testing demonstrates and what it does not.

Questions About Testing or Product Documentation?

If you have a question about the testing, documentation or quality information available for a particular Affordable Nutrition product, please contact us.

We’ll be happy to explain what documentation is available and help you locate the relevant information.
